Can you identify this Porsche 356?

The car is owned by a Porsche Club of America member in the Ashland/Medford area. I saw it two years ago and still marvel at the memory. Just discovered I took a picture which I have since posterized.

But even the most avid Porsche folks can’t tell me the year. Can you?

Can you solve this mystery? What year is the 356 featured here? Here’s the original of the ‘posterized’ version above.

Cottage Grove Old Town Club

The building started life in the early 1900s as a bordello. Today, it is under reconstruction as the downtown Cottage Grove tourist attraction it is destined to be. Cottage Grove is an exceptional tourist destination with 19 covered bridges, 23 building murals, countless wineries and several waterfalls in striking distance.

Crater Lake and Wizard Island

A few years ago a bad case of cabin fever found me on the edge of Crater Lake before the park was officially opened. The two hour drive was well worth the effort. The day was perfect for a few opportunistic shots of Wizard Island and the lake. The colors are accurate. In fact the blue of the lake is what makes this deepest lake in the country the tourist attraction that it is.

Photos for Men – Solution to birthday presents for men.

Image

Off to a good start. Folks seem genuinely impressed with the Porsche pictures. I took the shots at the Portland OR museum’s exhibit, “The Allure of the Automobile.” Lighting was poor but I captured some good images. Playing with photoshop rendered, what could have been ‘snapshots’ into art. Hope you like them too. If you’d like to buy a picture, let me know and we can work something out.

Red Hot.

Here’s one of my favorite cars, re-imagined.1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster. My passion for old cars means I have pictures of many which I can convert into art posters, you just have to ask.

Here’s my thinking. You know how hard it is to buy presents for men? Well, here’s the solution. Send me a picture of their favorite car in a large .jpg format and I will make it into a work of art. Live local to So OR? Want me to take the pictures? We can do that too. Contact me for pricing.
